The best Atria alternative for small teams that only need competitor research

Pick Atria if you want one platform for inspiration, your own ad analytics, AI-generated concepts and images, and asset storage, and you have the budget for a team plan. Pick AdBase if you only need to keep up with competitors’ Meta and Google ads, landing pages and newsletters through Claude, ChatGPT or Codex. Both include MCP access; Atria starts at $159 a month on monthly billing, AdBase at $29.

What Atria does well

Atria (tryatria.com) is a broad creative platform. Its plans combine an ad library, AI-tagged insights on brands you follow, analytics for your own Meta and TikTok ad accounts, AI-generated concepts, scripts, copy and images, cloned image ads, review mining and asset storage. Its MCP connector is part of every plan and works in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.

If you want research, analysis and creative production in one tool, Atria covers much more than AdBase. AdBase's ad maker and ad manager are still marked coming soon.

Where AdBase is different

AdBase is only the research part, and it goes into detail on it. For each competitor you add (up to 25 per workspace), AdBase collects their Meta and Google ads, captures every landing page those ads link to as text plus desktop and mobile screenshots, and subscribes to their newsletter so you can read the actual emails. Ads are tagged by creative style, angle and offer type, and video ads get a spoken transcript and a scene-by-scene breakdown with on-screen text.

Your AI agent reads it through AdBase's MCP connector. If you already use Claude, ChatGPT or Codex to write briefs and ad copy, AdBase gives the agent the competitor evidence and leaves the writing to the tool you already use.

Price compared

Atria's Core plan was $159 a month on monthly billing ($129 billed annually) when we checked on October 5, 2026. AdBase is $29 a month (€29 in the EU) with a 7-day free trial on the first subscription, and MCP access is included. If you'd use Atria mostly for competitor research, AdBase costs a fraction of it. If you'd use the generation and analytics too, Atria is the more complete tool.

When to pick Atria, and when to pick AdBase

Pick Atria if

  • You want to generate concepts, scripts and images from the same tool you research in.
  • You need analytics on your own Meta or TikTok ad accounts next to competitor research.
  • Your team needs asset storage, comments and guest sharing in one place.
  • You want TikTok in the picture. AdBase doesn’t collect TikTok ads today.

Pick AdBase if

  • Competitor research is the only part you need, and $159 a month is hard to justify for it.
  • You want competitors’ actual newsletters stored, not only summaries.
  • Google ads matter in your category.
  • You already write briefs and ads with Claude or ChatGPT and just need the competitor data inside it.

How switching from Atria works

  1. List the brands you follow in Atria.
  2. Add them to AdBase with each brand’s website, Facebook page, Instagram profile or Google Ads Transparency link.
  3. Connect AdBase to the same AI client you used with Atria’s MCP (Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor), or to Codex.
  4. Ask your agent to rebuild your usual competitor report from AdBase data, then compare before you cancel anything.
