What TrendTrack does well
TrendTrack is an ecommerce intelligence platform. Its pricing page describes shops, ads, advertisers and emails, with data it says is refreshed every 24 hours. You can filter stores by traffic, growth, creation date and Shopify theme, open shop analytics with traffic, products and reviews, and track brands with its Brandtracker. It also offers an email library and a shop's email flows on the Pro and Business plans.
If your question is "which stores in this niche are growing right now?", TrendTrack is designed for it. That kind of market-wide discovery isn't what AdBase does.
Where AdBase is different
AdBase starts from the other end. You tell it which brands you compete with, using a website, Facebook page, Instagram profile or Google Ads Transparency link, and it keeps collecting their activity:
- Ads from Meta and Google, grouped by creative, with copy, format, status and countries.
- Landing pages the ads link to, captured as full text plus desktop and mobile screenshots, and captured again over time so you can see what changed.
- Newsletters. AdBase signs up for the brands' emails and stores what arrives.
- Tags and breakdowns. Each ad is tagged with a creative style, angle and offer type. Video ads get a spoken transcript and a scene-by-scene visual transcript with the exact on-screen text.
All of that is available to your AI agent through AdBase's MCP connector. In Claude or ChatGPT you can ask "what angles is this brand testing on Meta this month?" or "compare the offers on these three landing pages", and the agent reads the actual ads, pages and emails to answer. You can still browse everything in the AdBase dashboard yourself.
Price compared
AdBase has one plan: $29 a month (€29 in the EU) with a 7-day free trial on the first subscription. MCP access is part of that plan. On TrendTrack, API and MCP access starts on Pro, which was $89 a month on monthly billing ($62 a month billed yearly) when we checked on October 5, 2026.
The two products answer different questions, so plenty of teams could justify both. If you mainly used TrendTrack to follow a short list of competitors and want your agent to do that work, AdBase is the cheaper way to do it. If you need TrendTrack's market-wide shop and product data, AdBase won't replace it.

When to pick TrendTrack, and when to pick AdBase
How switching from TrendTrack works
- Make a list of the 10 to 25 brands you actually follow in TrendTrack (your Brandtracker list is a good start).
- Create an AdBase account and start the 7-day trial. Add each brand with its website, Facebook page, Instagram profile or Google Ads Transparency link.
- Connect AdBase to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or another MCP client from the setup page. Sign-in uses OAuth, so there is no API key to copy.
- Ask your agent the questions you used to answer by hand, for example “what new offers did these brands launch this month, and where do the ads send people?”
- Keep TrendTrack running in parallel until you have checked that the brands you care about show up with enough history.
TrendTrack alternative: frequently asked questions
How much does TrendTrack cost?
On October 5, 2026, TrendTrack’s pricing page listed Starter at $49, Pro at $89 and Business at $159 per month on monthly billing, or $34, $62 and $111 per month billed yearly. Enterprise is custom. Does TrendTrack have an MCP server?
Yes. TrendTrack says you can connect Claude, ChatGPT and other clients to pull stores, ads, advertisers and emails. Its pricing page lists API/MCP access on the Pro and Business plans with 20,000 credits, and not on Starter. AdBase includes MCP access in its single $29 plan.
What is the main difference between TrendTrack and AdBase?
TrendTrack is built to explore the whole ecommerce market: shops, products, traffic, ads and emails. AdBase follows a watchlist of brands you choose and collects their Meta and Google ads, the landing pages those ads link to and their newsletters, so your AI agent can research them.
Can AdBase find winning products or estimate store traffic?
No. AdBase doesn’t do product research, traffic estimates or shop analytics. If those are the reason you use TrendTrack, TrendTrack is the better fit.
Which AI agents work with AdBase?
AdBase runs an MCP server with setup guides for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and other compatible clients. Setup and available features vary by client.
Is there a free trial?
AdBase gives a 7-day free trial on the first subscription. A card is required at checkout and is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel. TrendTrack’s pricing page offers a “Start Now for Free” sign-up.
